Chair opened the noon meeting of the Bryan Planning and Zoning Commission and a staff member told commissioners that an owner-requested annexation was on the City Council agenda.
The staff member said the annexation is Case ANN25-4 and described the property as located off State Highway 21 and Smitana Road. "So on, council's agenda that, had been previously approved by Planning and Zoning Commission was the owner requested annexation," the staff member said. The staff member did not report a vote at this meeting; the item was presented as information for commissioners to note ahead of the Council agenda.
The notice came amid a short meeting in which the commission approved the consent agenda unanimously. Chair called for the vote on the consent agenda and the chair said it "passes unanimously." The transcript does not record individual roll-call votes.
Because the annexation had already been forwarded to City Council, no further action was taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission at this session. Staff told commissioners the annexation will proceed through the Council process; no timetable or Council action was reported during this meeting.
