Clinton swears in three new firefighters at council meeting

Chief Bequishan said the recruits bring EMT and paramedic training pathways and highlighted their motivation to serve the community. Families came forward for a traditional pinning, and the mayor administered the oath of office.
The ceremony honored the new hires and invited family photos; no council action was required beyond the ceremonial oath.
Next steps: The new recruits will begin assigned shift duty and one was noted to be enrolled in the paramedic program this fall.
