Granite Falls council approves Alpine Street overlay contract and joins Snohomish County housing fund

The Granite Falls City Council on April 3 approved a scope-and-fee proposal with Gray and Osborne, Inc. to design the 2024 Alpine Street asphalt overlay and authorized the city manager to sign the contract in an amount not to exceed $30,000.

The motion to award the contract (AB 039-2024) was moved by Councilmember Glenn and seconded by Councilmember Straughn and the council carried the motion.

The council also approved an interlocal agreement with Snohomish County for the Affordable Housing and Behavioral Health Fund (AB 040-2024). Councilmember Glenn moved the interlocal agreement and Councilmember Griggs seconded; the motion carried.
