After returning from executive session at 8:57 p.m., Mayor Kara King moved to authorize city counsel to present the city’s most recent settlement proposal in pending litigation (Town of Bee Cave v. WSCUS Development LLC, et al., cause D‑1‑GN‑24005113). The motion, seconded by a council member, carried unanimously.
Following further executive-session discussion on personnel, King moved that the council concur with the city manager’s recommended hire for assistant city manager. That motion also passed unanimously. No additional details about the selectee or contract terms were announced during open session.
The meeting adjourned at 8:59 p.m.
