The council agreed unanimously on Aug. 12 to expand records posted on the Marlboro County website to include council minutes, budgets and credit card statements for fiscal years 2022–2023 through 2025–2026.
The motion to add the records as item 8c on the agenda was made by Jason Steen and seconded by Pearly Lawson; the council carried the amendment and later voted unanimously to approve the posting request after County Administrator Wilson A. Clyburn said he had no objection to publishing the additional records.
Council did not specify a publication schedule or exact file formats during the meeting; staff indicated they would post the items on the county website in accordance with normal administrative procedures. No objections or privacy concerns were recorded in the minutes.
