Three new alcohol license applications placed on Tift County consent agenda

TIFT COUNTY, Ga. — County Clerk Miriam Jordan presented three alcohol-beverage license applications at the March 2 work session; the sheriff recommended approval for each application and the board indicated it would place the items on the March 9 consent agenda.
Jordan said the applications are: Happy Tripp (applicant Riya D Patel) for a new store at 1949 Old Ocilla Road; Uma 2003 LLC (applicant Girishbhai Prajapati) at 5070 GA Highway 125 North in Chula (new owner); and Jiya Niya LLC (applicant Rajesh Gajjar) at 2473 U.S. Highway 82 East (new owner). The board did not act on the licenses during the work session.
The work session record does not include the license type for each application or any objections; those details will be included in the regular-meeting packet.
