Council holds executive session on UPF Litigation; motions to enter and exit recorded as unanimous
Summary
Pursuant to S.C. Code § 30-4-70(a)(2), Chesterfield County Council entered executive session to discuss negotiations and legal advice concerning UPF Litigation; motions to enter and to exit the closed session were both approved unanimously.
Coleman R. Bryant, county attorney, advised the council that pursuant to S.C. Code § 30-4-70(a)(2) the council would enter executive session to discuss negotiations incident to proposed contractual agreements and to receive legal advice relating to UPF Litigation. Council Member Ethan Foard moved to enter executive session and Council Member Brandon Price seconded; the motion passed with unanimous support.
After the closed session, Council Member Brandon Price moved to exit executive session; Vice-Chair Todd Smallwood seconded and the motion again passed unanimously. Following the executive session, Chair Mary D. Anderson announced there were no further items and adjourned the briefing.
