The Garrett County Board of County Commissioners approved several routine and administrative items at its March 17, 2026 public meeting.
On motions recorded in the minutes, the Board approved the March 17 agenda (motion by Commissioner Ryan S. Savage, seconded by Commissioner S. Larry Tichnell) and approved public meeting minutes for March 2 and March 9, 2026 (motion by Commissioner S. Larry Tichnell, seconded by Commissioner Ryan S. Savage). The minutes record unanimous approval for both actions.
Separately, the Board approved a Fiscal Year 2027 real property tax exemption for the Avilton Community Association under the Annotated Code of Maryland, Section 9-313.
