The roll call vote was recorded as Ayes: Breitbach and Cerwinske; Nays: Carter, Suckow and Chairperson Hackman. The motion failed 2–3, and the board did not adopt the budget at that meeting.
The minutes also record a discussion of Resolution 04-13-26-22, concerning elected officials' wages for FY2026–27; the board took no action on that wage resolution during the April 13 meeting.
