Staff seeks to add Baptist Health CNA affiliation and a Hilliard Elementary safety-patrol trip to consent agenda

At the workshop, a staff member asked the board to add to the agenda an affiliation agreement with Baptist Health Systems to allow CNA students to return to Baptist Hospital for clinical hours and to add a Hilliard Elementary School Safety Patrol field trip to the consent agenda.
The staff member said the affiliation document removes a previous "umbrella liability" provision and that changes appear on pages 6 and 7 of the agreement. Orientation for CNA students was planned for the end of January, with participation expected to begin in February.
On the Hilliard Elementary trip, staff said the trip form has been submitted and that the trip would be on the consent agenda as consent item number 9. The staff member asked that board members notify staff of any questions; no formal vote took place at the workshop to adopt either item.
The staff member also raised scheduling items for future discussion, including starting workshops to consider school sites and the future of a proposed 1-mill millage.
