In a separate finance motion, the board authorized $85,710 to be used for supplemental pay for teachers for the 2026‑27 contract year. The finance committee reported that noninstructional budgets were approved and discussed food service and ELL staffing as part of the 2026‑27 budget review.
During the meeting administrators also reported that the district closed referendum financing at 3.12% on March 17, maintained an AA‑ bond rating and chose a 20‑year term rather than 21 years; district staff stated this decision avoided approximately $3.7 million in interest and that the costs will be reflected in the secondary levy.
