FSUS board approves multiple policy updates, tentatively adjusts student‑records policies and accepts annual audit

The board approved Policy 3.50 (Public Information and Inspection of Records) on a motion by Dr. Brandon Bowden, seconded by Katie Perkins, and Policy 3.51 (Copying of Public Records) on a motion by Dr. Rosezetta Bobo, seconded by Amanda Grace.
The board gave tentative approval to Policy 5.70 (Student Records) (moved by Jenn Gayre, seconded by Dr. Rosezetta Bobo) and tentatively approved repeal of Policy 5.71 (Directory Information) (moved by Katie Perkins, seconded by Dr. Rosezetta Bobo). The board also tentatively approved Policy 5.711 (Parental Access to Information) (moved by Amanda Grace, seconded by Jenn Gayre) and Policy 5.10 (Admissions) (moved by Dr. Brandon Bowden, seconded by Amanda Grace).
On fiscal matters, the board approved the Independent Annual Fiscal Audit Report (moved by Katie Perkins, seconded by Doug Cooke) and approved an Administrative Discretionary Salary Increase (moved by Dr. Brandon Bowden, seconded by Jimmy Cole). All votes were recorded in meeting minutes as having passed without objection.
