Beardstown council approves $9,182 PowerDMS scheduling contract; mayor announces biweekly mobile vet clinic

A motion by Alderperson Eric Harbin, seconded by Alderperson Shawn Taylor, to accept the PowerDMS bid passed 7-0. Council recorded the yeas as Shawn Taylor, Lisa Buhlig, Dawn Seward, Ron Culves, Eric Harbin, Keith Schramm and Allie Dawson-Hoenes; one member (Davis) was listed as absent.
Earlier in the meeting, Alderperson Allie Dawson-Hoenes moved, and Alderperson Lisa Buhlig seconded, to dispense with the reading of the Jan. 6, 2026 minutes and approve them with the correction that Eric Harbin made a motion; that motion passed unanimously by voice vote. Dawson-Hoenes also moved to approve the consent agenda, seconded by Alderperson Dawn Seward; the consent agenda was approved unanimously by roll call under the Omnibus Vote Designation.
Mayor Tim Harris used his report to announce a ‘‘Mobil Vet’’ clinic will set up at the city's public works facility two times per month; the mayor said the clinic will register with the city using the intermittent vendor form. The announcement does not specify start dates or the services to be provided.
The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. at Beardstown City Hall, and adjourned at 7:02 p.m. on a motion by Alderperson Allie Dawson-Hoenes, seconded by Alderperson Lisa Buhlig.
