Land Board OKs preliminary sale of 10 cabin and home sites in three counties

Lieutenant Governor Kristin Juris presided as the board considered agenda item 0426‑2, in which the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation requested preliminary approval to nominate 10 cabin and home sites for sale in Flathead, Missoula and Sanders counties as part of the 2026–27 cabin and home site sales program.
Director Castor told the board the sales were nominated by lessees and DNRC in conjunction with the program. With no public comment, a board member moved to approve item 0426‑2, the motion was seconded and the board approved the request unanimously. DNRC will follow the sale nomination process outlined in the agenda packet.
