The Hermitage School District Board of Directors on Feb. 16 unanimously adopted the MIU IV attachment for the 2026–27 budget and approved finance documents and accounts‑payable lists for audit and payment.
School board Director Mrs. Becker moved to adopt the MIU IV 2026–27 budget; Director Ms. Tomko seconded the motion. The minutes record Hermitage’s cost for 2025–2026 as $26,926.84. The motion passed on a roll call vote of nine to zero.
In the same series of business the board authorized filing Attachments F‑1 through F‑10 (including the General Fund reports, condensed board summary, balance sheets, statements of revenues and expenditures, cafeteria and student activity reports, and fuel quotes) for audit after review by the Treasurer and Business Manager. That motion, made by Director Mrs. Becker and seconded by Director Mrs. Perman, passed unanimously.
The board then approved two accounts‑payable lists. The first covered checks written Jan. 16 to Feb. 12, 2026, totaling $420,989.83 (checks #86903–#87017). The second is an approval list as of Feb. 16, 2026, transcribed as $2,333,680.88 (proposed checks #87018–#87104). Both motions were moved by Mrs. Becker and seconded by Ms. Tomko and passed by unanimous roll call votes.
Board minutes indicate the Treasurer and Business Manager had reviewed the reports and that the board had the opportunity to discuss the materials with administration. The reports are to be filed for audit as recorded in the meeting minutes. The board adjourned later in the meeting after taking additional actions on procurement, personnel and policies.
