The Calhoun County Board of Commissioners on April 7 approved a medical services agreement for the county Juvenile Home, ratified an AFSCME supervisory employees contract, authorized an interim emergency services coordinator and approved a $42,000 Byrne Memorial formula grant application to complete a Livescan and mugshot system for Albion, Battle Creek and Marshall.
County Administrator/Controller Greg Purcell told the board the Juvenile Home medical services agreement had been negotiated by General Counsel. Commissioner Moore moved and Commissioner Todd supported Res. 46-2005, authorizing a contract with Marshall Medical Associates, P.C. to provide medical services to residents of the county Juvenile Home for the period March 1, 2005, through Feb. 28, 2007.
