CTAB approves bylaw revisions and October minutes; sets work-plan input deadline

The Citizen Transportation Advisory Board approved suggested changes to its bylaws on a motion from Jim Riesberg, seconded by James Bailey. The minutes from the Oct. 27, 2025 meeting were also approved by motion and a unanimous vote of members present.
Members discussed the upcoming CTAB triennial review at the City Council meeting scheduled for Nov. 18, 2025; the council agenda includes a city clerk presentation and the swearing-in of new council members. Several CTAB members said they planned to attend in person while others would join virtually.
On planning, the board discussed its 2026 work plan and agreed to submit ideas by Dec. 15 for consideration at a January meeting. In new business, Steve Teets asked to present options from the Metropolitan Planning Organization for transportation services for elderly and disabled residents in the northern area. Jim Riesberg reported on the Day of Remembrance; the record shows Steven Younkin presented at that event and that topics included recent traffic accidents and fatalities, a walk audit and Weld County’s Safety Action Plan.
