Key actions approved on the consent agenda (items 9–14, 16, 19–21) included approving prior meeting proceedings, canceling a Feb. 24 work session because of a special election, designating the City of Greeley website and City Hall public lobby as official posting places for notices, delegating authority to the City Clerk to appoint election judges, authorizing professional services contracts (including airport design services and a rating‑evaluation services agreement), and introducing ordinances related to floodplain management and midyear budget appropriations for later hearing.
Council also approved a resolution to call a special municipal election on Feb. 24, 2026, to submit a referendum to registered electors seeking repeal of Ordinance 30 (2025). The council later adopted a resolution documenting findings from a Dec. 16 hearing that had denied historic designation of City Hall; that resolution simply memorialized the prior 5–2 action and did not reopen the hearing.
Several pulled items (15, 17, 18) were discussed and then adopted individually by roll call (see separate articles on Island Grove and the 3‑mile plan). The council also authorized the city attorney to prepare any required documents to reflect actions taken at the meeting.
Votes on recorded roll calls were unanimous when taken: the main consent motion carried 7–0; pulled items were each adopted 7–0 where recorded.
