Board committee advances multiple instructional agreements, including social‑work services and targeted support plan

Phil Knapp, Titusville High School principal, outlined a Targeted Support & Improvement comprehensive plan intended to address graduation and attendance rates for students with disabilities; Donette Porter, Director of Curriculum & Federal Programs, said she collaborated on and supported the plan. The minutes record the plan as a recommendation for approval by the board.
The committee also reviewed purchasing and contracting items: a FLITE literacy instructional tool quote for $14,000, renewal of EmergyCare ambulance service for 2025–26, and social work services agreements with United Way of Venango and Titusville Region at $61,489 for secondary services and $50,000 for elementary services. A Master Services Agreement with BerkOne, Inc. was proposed for the Rockets Online Campus and a Dual Enrollment MOU with Grove City College was listed.
Most items were presented as recommendations to the full board; the committee minutes do not record final vote outcomes. The board will consider formal approval during upcoming board sessions.
