The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission presented Resolution Number 1, Series 2026 on March 2 to commend Gabe Launice for his service on the commission from September 2022 to November 2025.
Chair Dan Podell read the resolution, which cited Launice’s active interest in property designation applications, certificates of approval and policy discussions, and his support for public programming and historic-preservation events. After the reading, Launice came to the lectern and thanked commissioners for the opportunity to serve.
"It's been a genuine pleasure working with all of you," Launice said, reflecting that serving on the commission had had a positive impact on his life. Commissioners and staff offered their appreciation for his contributions and invited him to reapply for future service.
The presentation was ceremonial; the commission acknowledged Launice’s tenure and shifted to other business and staff reports.
