The Muscogee Educational Excellence Foundation introduced three teacher-of-the-year finalists—Mandy Chase (Double Churches Middle), Chris Greer (Clubview Elementary) and Carolyn Bingham (Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary). Each spoke about teaching and thanked volunteers and sponsors. The board noted the district-wide teacher of the year will be announced at a gala on May 7.
