The consent agenda reading included multiple items (resolutions and ordinances) ranging from subdivision approvals and vehicle purchases to contracts for roadway rehabilitation and a resolution authorizing participation in the Northern Illinois Municipal Electric Collaborative. After a motion to bundle the listed items, the council voted to establish and then to approve the consent agenda as amended.
Two items (identified in the agenda as item d — the ordinance to authorize IEPA loan documentation — and item f — a construction engineering contract) were pulled for separate discussion and then approved by roll call. Council also approved appointments and reappointments to several commissions.
