Senate honors Jim Plunkett with resolution

Multiple senators, including Senator Strickland and Senator Reyes, rose to endorse the resolution and praise Plunkett’s achievements. The roll-call vote was taken and the presiding officer announced the resolution adopted (ayes 38, no 0).
After adoption, the sponsor introduced Plunkett and family members to the Senate floor; the family received the resolution and a photo opportunity.
The resolution is honorary and contains no policy directives.
