After discussing prioritizing the elevator for ADA access and phasing the camera purchase, Commissioner Zucal moved to approve the elevator funding in full and approximately one-third of the camera cost (rounded to $10,000); Commissioner Moate seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The approved allotment for the Manor totals $27,095.58.
Commissioner Zucal moved and Commissioner Moate seconded approval of $50,000 in Act 13 funds to match a Mee Foundation challenge grant for cosmetic improvements at the County Recreation Center; that motion also passed unanimously. Commissioners said the match would allow finishing floors and other deferred cosmetic work to improve public spaces while preserving a small reserve for future requests.
The commissioners reviewed the balance of Act 13 funds and emphasized balancing community needs with fiscal prudence, approving the three allocations in a single final distribution before the next allocation on June 30.
