It also approved recommendations to hire Elizabeth Schafer as an English teacher at Ralston High School; Hannah Herian for fourth grade at Karen Western; Nathan Novak, Gideon Yaboa and Anthony Gallardo for positions at Ralston High School; and Heidi Belew as an English-language (EL) teacher at Ralston High School.
Board members approved minutes from the March 23 meeting and authorized payment of March bills totaling $597,183.30 for the general fund and $690,422.35 for the special building fund. Board members Mary Rorge and Robin Richards reviewed the bills prior to the meeting, the president said.
The items passed on a voice/roll-call vote called by the clerk; all voting members present recorded “Aye.”
The board moved on to other agenda items after approving the consent agenda and took no additional action on personnel beyond those hires and accepted resignations.
