Staff said engineers reviewed quantities and costs and found the proposal in line with expectations for a small roofing project.
Board members asked how many bids were solicited; staff confirmed three were requested and one was received. The president pro tem said funding for the project had been authorized previously via a resolution earlier in the year.
The motion to approve was moved and seconded; the clerk called the roll and the board approved the contract by recorded vote. Staff will schedule the replacement and coordinate work to minimize disruption to community-center programming.
