After Chair J. Merced Corona opened consideration of the consent agenda, Supervisor Janice A. Bell requested that Consent Item No. 1 (approval of the Jan. 27, 2026 meeting minutes) be pulled for separate consideration. The board approved Consent Items 2–9 by a recorded 5–0 vote (Mover: Supervisor Smith; Seconder: Supervisor Wilson). The minutes (Item 1) were then approved separately by the board, also by a 5–0 vote (Mover: Supervisor Bell; Seconder: Supervisor Boes).
Key items approved under the consent agenda include: reappointment of Resa Lyn to the Historical Records Commission; approval of Airport Hangar #3 lease with Charles Marsh; approval of a temporary construction easement with PG&E related to a gas distribution staging area at a county property in Williams (APN 016220-038-000); ratification of three emergency contracts with Restoration Management Company for water mitigation, asbestos abatement and flooring repairs at the Sheriff’s Office; approval of Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement No. 26-LE-11052560-017 with the USDA Forest Service (Mendocino National Forest); and authorization to publish a Request for Bids for the Colusa County Detention and Treatment Facility corridor renovation.
Several Planning & Building invoices to BPR Consulting Group were later approved under County Administrative Office items; the board approved multiple invoices totaling in the hundreds of thousands of dollars as listed in the County Administrative Office portion of the agenda.
All consent-related approvals were recorded as unanimous votes in the meeting record.
