A motion to approve the temporary closure on the listed secondary roads ran roughly from 8 a.m. to noon and passed unanimously.
As adopted, the county will provide signage and monitoring; any work involving state highways remains subject to state rules, and the county clarified that it was not authorizing closures of state highways but would manage secondary-road controls and traffic alternation as needed for the two-hour event.
