The amendment increased the offered rate from $82/hour to $95/hour, within the authorized band for annuitant positions.
After a brief staff explanation and no public comment, a motion was made to adopt the consent calendar with the amendment to item 9; the motion was seconded and the council voted unanimously in favor. Staff said the interim appointee will fill the finance role while recruitment for a permanent finance manager proceeds.
The council recorded no votes against the consent calendar. Staff noted the appointment and pay amendment would be processed according to personnel and payroll procedures and would return to the council only if additional changes were required.
