Edgerton council approves pay request for Albion Street project, budget transfer and ordinance introduction

The council approved bills and payroll totaling $318,769.60 on a Tim Shaw motion, seconded by Candy Davis, and approved transferring the 2024 General Fund surplus of $171,805.72 to the Capital Projects fund on a Tim Shaw motion, seconded by Candy Davis; both motions passed 6–0.
On planning matters, the council approved the introduction and first reading of City of Edgerton Ordinance 25-12, which amends Chapter 450 of the zoning ordinances (Section 450-62 b(1)(c)[5]) to revise sign regulations applicable to residential districts in Rock and Dane Counties. The introduction passed on a 6–0 roll call vote. The council also approved an extraterritorial land division for Jaskula to create two lots on Hillside Road in Section 36 of the Town of Albion; that motion passed on a 6–0 roll call vote.
With no further business, the council voted to adjourn from closed session; the motion to adjourn passed unanimously.
