Bonham council approves placing 10 charter amendments on May 2, 2026 ballot

The committee presented the amendments as a package intended to help the city manage projected growth and to give residents more opportunities to participate in local government. The council did not discuss the text of individual amendments at the meeting; the motion covered the committee's prioritized list as presented.
