The city engineer reviewed the site and had no concerns; the planning commission had unanimously recommended approval. The council voted to approve the variance as presented.
Both actions were routine approvals recorded during the council’s new and unfinished business items.
Council also approved nominations to several commissions by voice vote, including Jennifer Milton to the Transportation Advisory Committee and James Kramer to the Planning Commission.
