Livingston council accepts water-line project, approves camera agreement and awards GLO recovery contracts

At its Nov. 12 meeting, the Livingston City Council approved final payment and acceptance of a South Washington water-line project, adopted a TxDOT agreement permitting license-plate recognition cameras, awarded grant-administration and engineering contracts for GLO CDBG-DR recovery projects, and approved an amended firefighting agreement.
Mayor Judy B. Cochran called the Livingston City Council to order at 5:00 P.M. on Nov. 12, 2025, and the council opened with a prayer led by Alderman Andy Evans.
The council recognized Stacy Edwards, the City of Livingston human-resources coordinator, for completing the Texas Municipal Human Resources Association Certification Program, and received thanks from Chief Corky Cochran of the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department after council members donated their meeting-attendance payments to the department.
City staff presented the minutes of the Oct. 14, 2025 meeting, and Alderman Andy Evans moved and Alderman Alan Cook seconded approval; the council voted unanimously to adopt the minutes.
