Mayor Ayng closed the public-comment period after Miranda and no other speakers stepped forward. The council then proceeded to agenda item 5.1, a staff recommendation to adopt Resolution No. 26-09 to appoint John Lewis and Michelle Velasquez Bean to Council Districts 1 and 2.
