The council also voted to approve FY26 TIF grant applications received through Sept. 5 (four applications were in the packet). The mayor said the grants would be handled similarly to prior TIF grant processes; council approved the slate by roll call.
These items passed with all present voting in favor; Commissioner Stecklen was recorded as absent for the votes.
Separately, departmental reports followed: the police department reported August activity counts and ambulance calls, and the street department summarized pavement, sidewalk and drainage work and noted schedule changes to the asphalt overlay program.
