Commissioners approve two vehicle-dismantler certificates for White City businesses

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners on April 2 approved two orders authorizing the county chair to sign DMV applications for vehicle-dismantling or salvage operations for businesses in White City.

Commissioner Rick Dyer read Order No. 83-26 by title and County Administrator Danny Jordan explained the county review process under state law for vehicle-dismantling businesses, including suitability checks by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and a location review by Development Services. On March 19, 2026, North Valley Scrap and Salvage LLC applied for a certificate for a business at 8250 Agate Road in White City; county staff recommended the application met the requirements. Commissioner Colleen Roberts moved to approve Order No. 83-26, Commissioner Randy Sparacino seconded, and the three commissioners voted aye.

The board then considered Order No. 84-26, read by Commissioner Dyer. Jordan said C Bar C Truck Sales LLC submitted its DMV application on March 23, 2026 for a business at 2301 Avenue G in White City; the Sheriff’s Office and Development Services again recommended approval. Commissioner Sparacino moved to approve Order No. 84-26, Commissioner Roberts seconded, and the motion passed with the same unanimous 3-0 vote.
