Robin Trimble accepted the honor and reflected on the work of the chamber, thanking council members, volunteers and local business partners. "These are the things that we did together," she said, describing the chamber as "a lifeline, a connector, and a voice for our community." Council members and community leaders praised Trimble's mentorship and ability to convene partners, and several speakers said finding a replacement will be difficult.
The council also recognized several board members and local business representatives who spoke about Trimble's mentorship and community impact. The recognition was ceremonial and no formal policy action was taken.
