Development Authority nominates Kevin Evans to fill vacant member seat

Chairman Ryan Earnest presented Kevin Evans for nomination and asked Ryan Leonard to remove himself from discussion of the nomination. Sundai Stevenson moved to approve the nomination and Jeff Brooks seconded. The motion carried with Stevenson, Brooks, Nat Massey, Brent Bell and Earnest voting in favor.
The nomination was recorded during a called meeting at the authority's offices at 800 Broad Street. The minutes also show the board approved prior meeting minutes and briefly entered and exited an executive session to discuss real estate before taking the nomination vote.
No public comment was recorded on the nomination. The meeting adjourned following consideration of other agenda items.
