He added the agreement adds two brief paragraphs: one about SRO uniforms and another that requires the school to make an annual public notification that a school resource officer is assigned, language the chief said the state now requires to be mentioned in SRO contracts.
Kelly Bevans moved to approve the contract and a second followed. The committee approved the motion by voice vote; the transcript records the motion as carried but does not include a roll-call tally.
