Summary
After one applicant withdrew, the board voted to appoint Caleb Griffin to a short term on the Honey Lake Valley Resource Conservation District (term to expire 11/27/2026); deputy clerk Michelle Iduraga presented the appointment item and the board approved the motion by voice vote.
Michelle Iduraga, deputy clerk of the board, presented an appointment to the Honey Lake Valley Resource Conservation District to fill one vacancy with a term expiring Nov. 27, 2026. Iduraga told the board there had been two applicants for the seat but that David Lyle had withdrawn, leaving Caleb Griffin as the remaining candidate and noting that Griffin had attended meetings as a member of the public for roughly six months.
Iduraga said Honey Lake Valley RCD representatives were present and supportive. Chair moved the appointment; Supervisor Albaugh made the first and a second was recorded (Ingram). The board voted by voice: those in favor said “Aye” and the board announced the motion carried.
Iduraga and board members noted appreciation for Wayne Winston’s 15+ years of service to the RCD and described Griffin as someone who had been engaged in meetings as an associate before applying for the seat.
