City manager presents housing-market supply data and announces ETC Institute 'Leading the Way' recognition for Pelham

The manager also announced that Pelham received the ETC Institute "Leading the Way" award (recipients must rank in the top 10% nationally). He said Pelham’s composite score was 232, well above the national composite average of 114 and above the 210 threshold for the top 10%. The manager listed service areas where Pelham exceeded national averages, including quality of customer service, parks, public safety visibility and responsiveness, library services, and maintenance of city facilities.
He noted he attended an 8-hour workshop on AI in local government at a recent conference and said staff intend to integrate learnings into municipal communications and operations.
