The council approved accounts over $2,500 as submitted in the meeting packet. City Manager Billy S. Wiggins reported upcoming community events—Kids Fishing Frenzie, Main Street’s Broomsticks & Brews, and Livingston Trade Days—and provided an update on commercial projects and residential permitting.
Wiggins also presented the October sales tax report from the State Comptroller for August 2025 showing $432,351.77, an increase of 26.58% compared with August 2024. The manager reviewed polling locations for the Nov. 4, 2025 general election.
Mayor Cochran called an executive session at 6:18 P.M. under Texas Government Code Section 551.071 for consultation with the city attorney. The council reconvened at 6:34 P.M.; no action was taken, and the meeting adjourned at 6:34 P.M.
