Gonzalez said the streamlined process would allow qualifying projects to be approved administratively by the Community Development Director without Planning Commission or City Council hearings if they meet objective standards. "If they want to be eligible for this streamlined process, they have to provide 20% affordable," Gonzalez said during the presentation.
