The board approved an operations recommendation to contract with Stiles Heating and Cooling to install air conditioning in concession stands at Oconee County High School, North Oconee High School and Oconee County Middle School for a proposed cost of $61,675. Dr. White earlier told the board that the project will be funded from EASPLOS funds and that the goal is to complete work before the next school year.
Two pay-scale items were approved as presented: the nurse pay scale and the TST 2 pay scale. Each motion was moved, seconded and passed 4–0.
After the approvals, the chair moved the board into executive session to discuss matters listed in an affidavit to be attached to the minutes.
