The mayor noted that additional appointments and new people will be appointed at the council’s May 4 meeting to fill some current vacancies. She encouraged residents to apply for citizen-driven commissions and committees as a way to get involved in city governance, saying those bodies are “really important to the operation of the city.”
The meeting adjourned after a motion and second; council members then gathered for a photograph and brief informal remarks about celebrations and scheduling.
