Resolution 1869 — Boise Creek Cove final plat (approved): Director of Planning Chris Besany recommended approval of Resolution No. 1869 to accept the Boise Creek Cove final plat, an 18‑lot subdivision on just under 10 acres in the R‑2 (moderate‑density single‑family) zone. Besany said required infrastructure, posted bonds and required certifications were in place; council approved the resolution by voice vote.
Resolution 1870 — Local Road Safety Plan (approved): Council adopted Resolution No. 1870 to adopt the local road safety plan, which identifies nine candidate areas and roughly $21,000,000 in potential improvements. Planning work plan and consultant authorization (approved): The council considered the 2026 Planning Commission and Community Development work plan, approved an amendment removing the building-height review for the R4 and HCB zones from the docket, then voted to approve the work plan as amended. The council then authorized administration to spend up to $25,000 for outside contractor/consultant work to revise Title 15 amendments needed to comply with state law.
Votes and procedure: All actions reported at the meeting were approved by voice vote; the clerk and staff provided the ordinance/resolution texts and staff reports prior to each vote.
