The Tazewell County Community Policy and Management Team reviewed a resignation letter from National Counseling Group at its Nov. 17 meeting and directed staff to begin recruitment to fill the vacated private provider seat.
CPMT members voted unanimously to authorize the coordinator to invite private providers currently serving Children’s Services Act (CSA) youth to serve on the CPMT and the Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT). David Taylor made the motion; Roberta Boyd seconded, and the motion carried without opposition.
Officials noted that while terms normally begin with the fiscal year on July 1, the vacancy will be filled as soon as practicable because of the resignation. A letter of invitation to eligible private providers will be mailed in December 2025.
