Cheatham County approves two residential zone‑change requests in 5th district

The first motion, to rezone a 1.01‑acre portion of Map 86, Parcel 138.05 (4663 Old Sams Creek Road) submitted by Joseph and Sally Ringenberg, passed by roll call vote 11‑0 with one commissioner absent. The second motion, to rezone Map 86, Parcel 33.60 (1273 Old Charlotte Parkway) submitted by Julianne Drenon, also passed by roll call vote 11‑0 with one absent.
Both properties were advertised for public hearing; the hearing record shows no speakers for or against those two items. The Building Department presented the requests before the motions were made and seconded by members of the commission. With the votes recorded, the changes were adopted as reflected in Resolutions 4 and 5 in the meeting minutes.
