Planning and Zoning Director Deborah Bell told the Board staff had no specific objection to the Town's annexation request but that the Engineering Department had identified items related to site access that would need attention. The minutes record that the Board approved the annexation notification on a motion by Vice Chairman Edward Gibbons, seconded by Commissioner Charles W. Oddo.
The action in the minutes records county acknowledgement and staff comment on engineering considerations; it does not itself constitute town-side approval of any rezoning or development that may follow an annexation.
