Broadnax Taylor recorded a dissenting vote; the minutes note she did not support the final ordinance but do not specify which line items she opposed. The Board did not change the advertised adoption date during the meeting.
The budget ordinance was entered into the public record and a copy was attached to the minutes. County staff said work will continue on implementation, including departmental budget workshops and follow-up reporting to the Board.
Next steps include implementation of the allocated line items July 1 and continued oversight by county finance staff. Any subsequent budget amendments will be presented to the Board in public session.
